LeSean McCoy: 'Dallas Cowboys loss gave us lift'

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy admits that seeing the Dallas Cowboys lose lifted his side's spirits after a defeat of their own.

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy has admitted that his side were boosted by the news of the Dallas Cowboys' defeat to the Green Bay Packers.

The Eagles left the door open for the Cowboys to overtake them atop the NFC East and into the fourth seed in the playoffs with their loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

However, Jason Garrett's side allowed a 23-point lead to slip to lose at AT & T Stadium.

"It definitely did [helped our spirits]," McCoy told radio station 94WIP. "I didn't feel like a loss either. If you lose, you don't want to talk. So, it didn't feel like a loss, which is bad to say I guess."

Philadelphia are 8-6 in their season with two games to play.
