Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has praised rookie wide receiver Markus Wheaton for his ability to learn from his mistakes.
Roethlisberger said that he has known players who continually make the same mistake, but does not expect Wheaton to become one of those.
"He's a hard worker," SteelersDepot.com quotes Roethlisberger as saying. "You don't see him make the same mistake twice, so when you tell him something, he works on it and to me, that's big when it's a young guy, a new guy.
"If they make the same mistake over and over it means they're not focused and not working at it. He doesn't make the same mistake twice, and he works hard and wants to be great, and that's what you want to see from a young guy."
Wheaton was drafted in the third round overall.
