Jeromey Clary has said that the San Diego Chargers made some big stops to secure their win over the Denver Broncos.
The AFC West side forced three three-and-outs and sacked Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning twice during the 27-20 win.
The guard told reporters: "That was complementary football at its best. The defense had some big stops.
"We had the run game going and ran some different runs in the second quarter and they worked pretty well. Ryan [Mathews] had a couple that he broke off, and then Keenan Allen made plays."
The Chargers sit third in their division with a 7-7 record.
