The Seattle Seahawks have claimed an eighth win of the season by recording a comfortable 19-3 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium.
It was a solid start from the Seahawks defensively as 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick followed getting sacked by watching Richard Sherman intercept a misdirected pass.
Seattle quickly took control to take the lead late in the first quarter through Robert Turbing, who capitalised on space to cruise into the endzone after collecting a pass from Russell Wilson.
Wilson carried his form into the second quarter by driving Seattle towards the endzone once again, but the Super Bowl champions were forced to settle for a field goal from Steven Hauschka, who converted again six minutes later to extend his side's lead to 13-0.
Kaepernick's struggles continued throughout the evening as the frailties on offense for San Francsisco were made clear by a determined Seattle defense.
San Francisco held off the Seattle offense in the third quarter, but they could not prevent the visitors from moving further ahead when Hauschka converted another field goal.
A six-minute drive from the 49ers looked to put them on course for their first touchdown until Michael Bennett sacked Kaepernick on third down, leaving the hosts to reduce the deficit with a field goal from Phil Dawson.
However, the 16-point advantage would be restored early in the fourth quarter when Hauschka converted for the fourth time with a perfect effort from 47 yards.
Sherman picked off a pass from Kapernick once again as the 49ers' challenge faded in the latter stages of what would prove to be a disappointing Thanksgiving evening for the home fans in California.
