Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has dismissed rumours that the franchise could be open to trading running back Marshawn Lynch.
Speculation has also suggested that Lynch could leave Seattle at the end of the season, but Carroll is adamant that he will not be departing ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline.
"I have nothing to say about that because there is nothing to that," Carroll told reporters.
"Our players have told you how they feel, our coaches have told you how we feel about it and we are in a really good place right now. There is nothing to that report. I don't know where that came from."
The Seahawks traded receiver Percy Harvin to the New York Jets just over a week ago, and Carroll conceded that the organisation could yet make a move before the deadline.
