Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson is likely to miss the first few weeks of the season, according to reports.
The 28-year-old is preparing to start his second campaign as a Redskins player following his move from the Philadelphia Eagles.
However, NFL Media claims that Jackson has suffered a Grade Two separated shoulder after he collided with a blocking sled during practice today.
Jackson's injury should keep him out for a few weeks and he is almost certainly going to miss the rest of pre-season and probably the first couple of games of the campaign.
Jackson scored six touchdowns last season.
