Report: DeSean Jackson hit with shoulder injury

The Washington Redskins are likely to be without wide receiver DeSean Jackson for the beginning of the season, according to reports.

Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson is likely to miss the first few weeks of the season, according to reports.

The 28-year-old is preparing to start his second campaign as a Redskins player following his move from the Philadelphia Eagles.

However, NFL Media claims that Jackson has suffered a Grade Two separated shoulder after he collided with a blocking sled during practice today.

Jackson's injury should keep him out for a few weeks and he is almost certainly going to miss the rest of pre-season and probably the first couple of games of the campaign.

Jackson scored six touchdowns last season.
