The Washington Redskins have reportedly said that they are confident Robert Griffin III will be ready to play by the start of the 2013 NFL season.
The quarterback is recovering from knee ligament surgery, having sustained an injury during the Redskins' playoff game last month.
ESPN reports that the team's officials are pleased with the 23-year-old's progress since the operation.
The rookie player of the year's surgeon has previously said that he expects RG3 to be ready for the start of next season.
