Canada has announced that it will field its largest ever non-home team at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Commonwealth Games Canada (CGC) has selected 265 athletes to feature at the tournament, competing in every event besides netball.
"After years of preparation, it is hard to believe that we are now only one week away from the Opening Ceremony," said Scott Stevenson, CGC's Director of Sport.
"Canada has fielded a very strong team for these 2014 Games, and we are targeting a top-three finish amongst all nations competing here. This team truly represents sporting excellence at its best."
Canada's youngest athlete is 16-year-old artistic gymnast Isabela Onyshko, while lawn bowls team member Al Hanet is the oldest at 78.
Susan Nattrass, a trapshooter and flag bearer at Glasgow 2014, is the most-decorated Commonwealth Games athlete in the Canada squad with three silver medals and five bronze to her name.
