Team England discus competitor Carl Myerscough has admitted that he was "disappointed" with his performance in the final of the Commonwealth Games on Thursday.
Myerscough finished seventh in the final at Hampden Park with a score of 59.88.
"Disappointed obviously. I was hoping for better, but it was difficult conditions out there," he told Sports Mole.
"You want to give it everything you've got and I am frustrated."
Myerscough also refused to blame the weather, before confirming that he had not yet decided whether to continue for another Commonwealth Games.
"It affects everybody equally; some people didn't handle it so well. A few of the favourites struggled, it was definitely a factor, but that is how it is. We are all experienced," he added.
"I was pleased I managed to get six throws, but was hoping to do better.
"I cannot say right now [whether I will continue]. I will regroup. I am not going to say anything right now."
India's Vikas Shive Gowda picked up the gold.
