Defending champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce reached the 100m final without any issues at the World Athletics Championships.
The Jamaican, who is the current holder of the world and Olympic titles, was too strong for her rivals in the opening semi-final as she eased home in a time of 10.82 seconds ahead of Commonwealth champion Blessing Okagbare.
A slight stumble could not prevent USA's Tori Bowie from claiming victory in the second semi-final with a time of 10.87 seconds, while Kelly-Ann Baptiste of Trinidad and Tobago did enough to clinch second spot.
Veronica Campbell-Brown, who triumphed in 2009 and 2011, secured her progress in the final semi-final, but it was Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands who pulled away to win a new personal best of 10.83 seconds.
Great Britain's Asha Philip was unable to claim a spot in the final after running 11.21 seconds for seventh spot in the opening semi-final.
