Usain Bolt: 'I'll do well in 200m final'

Jamaica's Usain Bolt expects to "do well" in the 200m final after posting a season best in the semi-finals at the World Athletics Championships.

Usain Bolt has insisted that he will "do well" after winning his semi-final in the men's 200m event at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing.

The world record holder posted the second-fastest time across the three heats behind America's Justin Gatlin, whom he beat in the final of the 100m earlier in the meeting.

The Jamaican, who ran his fastest time of the season in the semis, told BBC Sport: "I am a bit tired and need some rest, but I am feeling okay. I tried to preserve some energy for the final. The 200m is my best event and I believe I will do well."

The final of the event takes place tomorrow.
