Great Britain's Jessica Ennis is back in training and has turned her attentions to the Olympic Games in London next year.
The 25-year-old heptathlete had to settle for a silver medal at the recent World Championships in South Korea.
However, Sheffield-born Ennis is determined to put that disappointment behind her and claims that it could act as a "blessing in disguise".
"Everything is focused on London 2012 now," she told Sky Sports News. "I've had my break at the end of the season and it is all about training and making sure I have a really good foundation, get strong and fast over the winter and then I can perform, hopefully, really well next summer.
"I would have loved to have gone into the Olympics as reigning world champion but that's not to be this time, and a silver medal is not too bad.
"It has given me, not that I didn't have motivation before, that extra drive to get back on top again and it could be a blessing in disguise."
The London event will be Ennis's first ever participation in the Games.
