Mo Farah has set his sights on a third Great North Run title after winning the race for the second time in a row on Sunday.
The Briton, who edged out Stanley Biwott to finish first, attributed his latest success to his fans and confirmed his involvement in next year's event.
"The crowd were amazing," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "If it wasn't for them edging me towards the end it definitely would have been a different result.
"I want to come back and see if I can do a hat-trick."
Farah, who successfully defended his 5,000m and 10,000m world titles in Beijing last month, shaved 37 seconds off his winning time at last year's Great North Run in Sunday's race.
