Great Britain's Lee McConnell individual Olympic campaign has ended at the semi-final stage of the women's 400m.
The Scottish runner could only muster a seventh-place finish this evening in a time of 52.24 seconds.
The race was won by Russia's Antonina Krivoshapka, while second spot went to 29-year-old American DeeDee Trotter.
Jamaica's Novlene Williams-Mills, who finished third, also reached the final as one of the fastest losers.
