Great Britain's T35/38 women's relay team explain their mix-up that almost saw them disqualified form tonight's final.

Great Britain's T35/38 women's relay team, who won bronze in tonight's final, have explained the mix-up that almost saw them disqualified.

The changeover between Jenny McLoughlin and Katrina Hart was ruled just inside the box and Britain were allowed to keep their bronze medal and the pair have explained what almost went wrong.

"I just ran it," McLoughlin said. "I think I went a bit too early and I tried to slow down a bit. I really thought I was out of the box and that's why at the end I just didn't know. I'm so relieved, I thought I'd messed up."

Hart was more confident that the changeover would not see the team disqualified.

She said: "I knew what we were doing all along! I just kept holding it and was like 'I'm not going to let this go'. It was really touch and go but the team just did fantastically."

Britain were leading the race at the final changeover and were looking good for at least a silver.
