Great Britain's Shelly Woods has admitted that a medal on the track is "not meant to be" after adding disappointment in the 1,500m to her failure to qualify for the 800m.
Woods, who won the London wheelchair marathon this year, also said that she is looking forward to competing in the Paralympics marathon.
"I've been trying to get on this podium but it's just not to be," Woods said. "I gave it my best shot but it's not meant to be on the track.
"I'm looking forward to getting on the road, the marathon. It's a long bloody way!
"It's really tough out there. There are 10 chairs and I just need a bit more speed with my acceleration. So, back to training."
The marathon takes place on Sunday at 11.30am.
