Great Britain have breezed into the final of the men's 4x400m relay at the World Athletics Championships by winning this morning's heat in Beijing.
The GB quartet produced a season-best time of 2:59.05 to safely secure their passage into Sunday's final at the Bird's Nest Stadium.
Martyn Rooney, who missed the birth of his child to compete in China, brought the baton home in the final stretch to beat Belgium (2:59.28) and France (2:59.42) in third.
Russia, who clocked 2:59.45, also qualified.
Along with Rooney, Britain's team also comprises Rabah Yousif, Delano Williams and Jarryd Dunn.
The GB women also booked their place in the 4x400m final earlier this morning.
