Jessica Ennis-Hill will begin the final day of the women's hepathlon at the World Athletics Championships in the lead after a strong 200m.
The Olympic champion finished behind fellow Briton Katarina Johnson-Thompson, who won the final heat a season-best time of 23.09s to move into second in the overall standings.
Ennis-Hill also clocked a season-best of 23.42s, to lead the heptathlon by 80 points with three events to come tomorrow.
Canadian Brianne Theisen-Eaton, who was expected to be in contention for gold, is now 160 points behind the Briton after finishing fourth in final heat of the 200m.
