Martyn Rooney has won his appeal to British Athletics to be included in the individual 400m at this month's World Championships.
The 28-year-old had initially been selected as part of Great Britain's 400m relay squad to travel to Beijing.
However, he appealed to British Athletics in order to receive an individual spot and has been successful in his attempts.
"I'm happy that my appeal was successful," Rooney is quoted as saying by British Athletics' official website.
"Now I can focus on preparing for the world championships and representing Great Britain to the best of my ability."
Lennie Waite and Andy Vernon have both been unsuccessful in their appeals to British Athletics after being left out of the squad for Beijing.
