Great British distance runner Mo Farah has backed London's bid to host the 2017 World Athletics Championships.
The bid is being fronted by Lord Sebastian Coe and UK Athletics, who will present London's case to hold the Championships later this week.
"London is such a fantastic multi-cultural city," said 5,000m world champion Farah.
"We have great resources, great people and a real love of sport, and it's because of this that I think it would be a fantastic host."
Should the bid be successful, the organising committee are planning to use the Olympic Stadium as the main venue.
