Lionel Hollins lined up to replace Jason Kidd?

Lionel Hollins is lined up as the favourite to replace Jason Kidd to become the new head coach of the Brooklyn Nets following the 41-year-old's departure, according to a report.

Lionel Hollins is the frontrunner to replace Jason Kidd as the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, according to a report.

Kidd was traded away by the Nets to the Milwaukee Bucks for two second-round picks in the 2015 and 2019 Drafts.

Hollins has been lined up by the Nets after spending a year out of the game when his contract was not renewed by the Memphis Grizzlies at the end of the 2012-13 season, reports ESPN.

The 60-year-old guided the Grizzlies to the NBA playoffs three times in his seven years at the club.
