Cleveland Cavaliers coach Mike Brown has received a vote of confidence from franchise owner Dan Gilbert.
Speculation suggested that Brown's position was at risk after general manager Chris Grant was fired on Thursday.
"We're going to see Mike Brown succeed this year. I think he will be able to do good things in the next 30 games or so. We're going to do everything we can to give them the air cover they need," Gilbert said, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
The Cavaliers are currently 16-33 so far this season and are expected to be active in the market ahead of the trade deadline on February 20.
