The San Antonio Spurs have left themselves just one win from a place in the Western Conference semi-finals after beating the Dallas Mavericks 109-103.
The home side dominated the second quarter to head into the break nine points ahead, and never fell behind during the game.
Tony Parker, who had been quiet throughout the playoff series so for, led the scoring for the Spurs, finishing the game with 23 points.
Vince Carter and Dirk Nowitzki tried to get the Mavericks back into the tie during the second half, but Parker kept the shots coming to make sure that San Antonio remained in front.
The sides meet again in Dallas tomorrow, when the Mavericks will have to win to keep the playoff series alive.
