Jeremy Lin excited by game in Taiwan

Jeremy Lin reveals his excitement ahead of the games between the Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers in Manila and Taipei.

Jeremy Lin has admitted that he is "excited" to take part in the first game between two NBA teams in Taiwan.

The Houston Rockets point guard, who was raised by Taiwanese parents, has claimed that he's been humbled by the reception he has received since arriving in the Philippines, where the first of two games against the Indiana Pacers takes place.

"I'm excited to play here and in Taiwan," the 25-year-old told reporters. "I think the fans don't get a chance to often watch an NBA game live, so hopefully they'll really enjoy the experience and I think we're going to definitely enjoy it as well.

"I'm glad to see and feel the warmth they showed to me in person when I got the chance to walk in the mall last night. Everyone was polite, respectful and I was really blown away."

The opening game between the two sides will be held in Manila on Thursday and the second game will take place on Sunday in Taipei.
