Report: Amar'e Stoudemire to meet Miami Heat

Amar'e Stoudemire plans to meet with Miami Heat team president Pat Riley, according to reports.

Former Dallas Mavericks star Amar'e Stoudemire is reportedly set to meet with the Miami Heat to discuss signing a deal.

The 32-year-old split last season between the New York Knicks and the Mavs, helping the latter to make the playoffs.

Stoudemire averaged 11.5 points per game last season on 55.7% shooting, featuring in 59 games in total.

The veteran forward is said to be strongly considering the Heat, and has a meeting scheduled with team president Pat Riley on Friday.
