New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony has dismissed speculation that there is a rift between him and teammate Tim Hardaway Jr.
According to ESPN, the pair were involved in a heated exchange during the loss to the Brooklyn Nets last week, with Anthony threatening to beat his teammate up when they returned to the locker room.
"Me and Tim have no problems," Anthony told reporters on Wednesday night.
"Tim is a guy who I always wrapped my arm around and put under my wing from day one, helped him through times when he's been down, and I will continue doing that."
Hardaway echoed Anthony's sentiments and although he conceded that they did argue, he insists that he looks up to Anthony as a mentor.
