Kenyon Martin out for a week with ankle injury

New York Knicks forward Kenyon Martin will miss the next week with a lingering ankle injury.

Kenyon Martin has been ruled out for the next week with lingering discomfort in his left ankle.

The New York Knicks forward aggravated an injury last week, and has since needed a walking boot.

Head coach Mike Woodson told ESPN: "Right now he doesn't have [a] comfort zone. He's having to experience some pain and he can't play so you've just got to be patient and try to seek the best medical attention for him and try to get him back when we can."

The 36-year-old is expected to return against the Memphis Grizzlies after the All-Star break.
