Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant could reportedly return to action within a week after coach Scott Brooks revealed that he went through full practice on Monday.
Durant has been sidelined for the past six weeks after undergoing surgery on a fractured foot and he had been expected to take another fortnight before making a full recovery.
However, Brooks revealed that he is making good progress which could in turn result in a comeback earlier than expected.
The Thunder also received a fitness boost last week, with point guard Russell Westbrook returning from a broken hand to score 32 points in his first game back.
It is suggested that Oklahoma City will need to go 44-21 for the rest of the season in order to get to 49 wins, which was the cut-off for the playoffs in the Western Conference last year.
