Kevin Durant hails Oklahoma City Thunder teammates

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant says that his teammates helped him reach 30 points for the seventh game in a row against the Sacramento Kings.

Kevin Durant has praised his Oklahoma City Thunder teammates for helping him continue his scoring form.

The forward has scored at least 30 points in his last seven games, including last night's 108-93 win over the Sacramento Kings.

The 25-year-old told reporters: "My teammates were setting screens for me. We were seeing something in pick-and-roll. Serge [Ibaka] was doing a great job of slipping out of it and knocking down shots.

"I was trying to be aggressive and put pressure on the rim and the defense and if they draw in, I kick it out and if not, I try to lay the ball in, take a good shot.

"[Sacramento's Isaiah Thomas] hit a lot of threes. He got to the foul line a lot. He was coming down, pulling up. I think our pick-and-roll defense was a lot better in the second half, making him drive a little more, forcing him to our bigs."

The win leaves the Thunder second in the Northwest division.
