DeMarcus Cousins has reportedly agreed a contract extension with the Sacramento Kings that will take effect from the 2014-15 season.
According to The AP, the 23-year-old center will sign a new four-year deal that will tie him through to the 2018-19 season and will earn him $64m (£40m).
Cousins would have become a restricted free agent next summer had the Kings not signed him up on a new contract by October 31.
Cousins, who averaged 17.1 points and 9.9 rebounds last season, has been with the Kings since 2010.
