Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey has hailed the efficiency of DeMar DeRozan's performance as they overcame the Golden State Warriors 104-98 at the Air Canada Centre.
DeRozan shone for the hosts on Sunday night, as he scored 32 points, with 12 of those coming in the final quarter of the game.
"He was efficient. He had six assists, which is big," Casey told reporters after the encounter.
"They were double teaming him, trying to get the ball out of his hands and he did a good job of finding people.
"It's just another step in his growth. He got to the free throw line, which was huge and he didn't settle for jump shots where he had an opportunity to drive to the bucket."
The victory sees the Raptors sitting in first position in the Atlantic Division, with a record of 33-26.
