Washington Wizards rookie Otto Porter has suffered a hip injury in a practice match and could miss the start of the season.

Porter, who was the third pick in this year's Draft, claims that it is not a serious problem but refuses to set a date for his return.

"It occurred recently, you know, just playing," Porter told reporters. "But nothing major, though. I'm going to take it day by day, see how it feels.

The Wizards have also recently been hit by injuries to Emeka Okafor and Chris Singleton.
