Rexhildo Zeneli suspended after failed drugs test

Albanian boxer Rexhildo Zeneli is banned from the European Games after failing an anti-doping test.

Albanian boxer Rexhildo Zeneli has tested positive for a banned substance, which has resulted in his suspension from the European Games.

In an out-of-competition test on June 13, Zeneli provided a sample that contained Furosemide, which falls under the prohibited list of diuretics and masking agents.

The 19-year-old had been due to represent his nation in the men's bantamweight category on Friday.

The failed test is the first that has been recorded at the Games in Baku.
