Kazakhstan's Daniyar Yeleussinov has beaten Iranian light welterweight Mehdi Toloutibandpi to secure a quarter-final berth in the Olympics.
Yeleussinov got the better of the opening round, using his left to counter Toloutibandpi on three occasions and fire himself into a 5-2 lead.
The Kazakh boxed well at range and worked nicely behind his jab as the Iranian struggled to get within range for an attack.
The third round was fought at a more leisurely pace as both men had seemed to accept their fate.
In the end, Yeleussinov ran out a 19-10 winner.
