Muhammad Ali's trainer Angelo Dundee dies

Muhammad Ali's trainer Angelo Dundee dies of a reported heart attack at the age of 90.

Muhammad Ali's legendary trainer Angelo Dundee has died at the age of 90.

It is understood that the Philadelphia-born trainer passed away after suffering a heart attack in Florida following a recent blood clot.

Dundee's family said in a statement: "Angelo died surrounded by family and friends. He was very happy that he got to celebrate Ali's birthday earlier this year and also that he got to go to the [Hall of Fame]. He still had much to do, but, led a full and extraordinary life."

Dundee is best known for his work with 'The Greatest' boxer Ali, but he also guided the likes of George Foreman, Willie Pastrano and 'Sugar' Ray Leonard.

The American legend, who was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1994, trained up to 15 world champions during his career.
