Kell Brook has confessed that he is desperate to fight domestic nemesis Amir Khan in the next 12 months.
The Sheffield welterweight stopped Hector Saldivia in three rounds on Saturday to become the mandatory challenger for the IBF title.
Brook told Sky Sports News that while he is focused on becoming world champion, he has a burning desire to test himself against Khan.
He said: "I would love to take Khan's chin clean off, I think everyone knows that.
"I want to destroy Khan but I am doing my thing.
"We are going to get a world title and we are going to do our own thing. I want to keep filling these arenas out; I want to be world champion and bring it back home."
Brook's promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that he will begin immediate negotiations with the winner of Saturday night's IBF title fight between Randall Bailey and Devon Alexander.
