IBF super-middleweight champion Carl Froch has insisted that George Groves is not ready to fight him in 2013.
Groves is the mandatory challenger for Froch's IBF belt, with talks ongoing regarding a potential world title bout later in the year, but the Nottingham fighter has guaranteed that he would easily overcome the 25-year-old.
The 36-year-old told talkSPORT: "I'm confident in saying that if I fight him, I will beat him. I've got no problem with that.
"The guy's not ready for me. He might be ready one day, but I doubt it. If he fights me, he's going to get beaten."
Froch has won 31 of his 33 professional fights, while Groves is unbeaten in 19 bouts.
