Danny Garcia acknowledges that he will be the underdog in Saturday's WBC light-welterweight title fight with Amir Khan.

Danny Garcia has admitted that he is the underdog in Saturday's WBC light-welterweight title fight with Amir Khan in Las Vegas.

The American acknowledges that Khan goes into the fight with a bigger reputation, but the 24-year-old is determined to prove that he is the best fighter at 140lbs.

"I'm the underdog. I've got to prove to the world that I'm the best 140lbs fighter," he told Sky Sports News. "That's why I took this fight and why I'm here.

"He has the name. So it's only right for me to be the underdog because more people know his name than mine, but Saturday night we'll see who's the better man.

"I know a lot of people from Philadelphia have come over to support me. Fans and family and they are here supporting me. I'm going there, have fun and do what I do best and that's win."

Garcia is unbeaten in his career so far, winning all 23 of his fights with 14 knockouts.
