British super-middleweight George Groves has claimed that he will stop Carl Froch with a left hook in their world super-middleweight clash at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening.
Groves had promised earlier in the buildup that he would reveal how he would try to beat the IBF and WBA champion, and at the final press conference before the bout, the Londoner told the world's media that he had been working on a left hook.
The 26-year-old told reporters: "Anyone who was watched the media workouts will see that we have been working on left hooks, and we know that the left hook will work. It will be the left hook that finishes Carl Froch."
Froch, who laughed off Groves's comments, prevailed from their first encounter after the match was controversially stopped in the ninth round.
