Amir Khan has lodged a formal appeal to the boxing authorities in attempt to have his defeat to Lamont Peterson a fortnight ago overturned.
Khan lost his IBF and WBO belts in a controversial split decision to home fighter Peterson in Washington DC after he was deducted two points by the referee.
The Bolton-born fighter's team have asked the IBF, WBO and the District of Columbia Boxing and Wrestling Commission to investigate the result.
The International Boxing Federation recently insisted that "no discrepancies" had been committed during the fight.
