Amir Khan has laid out plans for a future clash with American superstar Floyd Mayweather.
Khan has long held ambitions to fight the best in the world, and matching up against the unbeaten Mayweather would represent a huge test of the 2004 Olympic gold medalist's credentials.
Before talks can begin for a fight with Mayweather, Khan must first defeat WBC light-welterwight king Danny Garcia on July 14 in Las Vegas.
Khan told Sky Sports News: "I've got ambitions in life to face the best, like Floyd Mayweather, but it's a waiting game at the moment.
"I've got Garcia in front of me and I'm 100% focused on taking care of him. Then maybe I'll have one more fight before I go on to the big, big names like Floyd Mayweather."
Khan's start to 2012 has been very difficult, his rematch with Lamont Peterson being cancelled due to the Washington native failing a drugs test.
