The upcoming rematch between Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury will reportedly take place in the UK in June.
Klitschko has confirmed that he will activate the rematch clause in the contract for their original meeting in Dusseldorf last November, which saw Fury crowned WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion by unanimous decision.
According to the Manchester Evening News, discussions about a number of venues are still taking place but the frontrunner is thought to be the Manchester Arena with a tentative date of June 4 sounded out.
Klitschko has spent most of his professional career fighting in Germany which is his preferred option, with the newspaper claiming that Fury may be tempted to surrender home advantage if it makes more financial sense.
Old Trafford and Wembley had been mooted as potential destinations but they are unlikely to sell out, whereas the bigger venues of Germany are more likely to draw a capacity crowd.
