Mark de Mori fires warning to David Haye ahead of comeback fight

David Haye's upcoming opponent Mark de Mori warns the Hayemaker that his strength has "gone to another level" over the last two years.

Mark de Mori has warned David Haye that he has gone from strength to strength over the last two years.

The Australian, who will serve as the opponent for the Hayemaker's comeback bout next January, was keen to point out how much he has progressed since graduating from grassroots boxing.

"One thing his team may not know is that 90% of my career I trained in my dad's garage," BBC Sport quotes the Perth-born fighter as saying.

"I had a few fights with my wife in my corner. That's the guy they have seen on YouTube and are preparing for. But I've lived in Croatia for the last two years and have gone from training in my garage to training with a coach who is a two-time Olympian.

"So I've gone from self-trained guy with my wife wiping blood from my face to being properly trained. My strength has gone to another level."

Haye has not fought competitively since he squared off against Dereck Chisora in 2012.
