Kevin Mitchell has warned Ricky Burns to expect a late onslaught when they clash for the WBO lightweight title this weekend.
The Dagenham fighter, who travels to Glasgow to challenge champion Burns, believes that he will get the job done with a late stoppage.
"My preparation has gone very well," he said. "It's been hard at times and now I'm ready to get the job done.
"I believe ring rust is all in your head, you should be able to shake that off with quality sparring.
"We are good friends but now its business, I think it will be rough and ready after eight to ten rounds, then watch out for a knockout late."
Burns makes a sixth defence of his lightweight crown against a rejuvenated Mitchell at the SECC in Glasgow on Saturday night.
