Floyd Mayweather Jnr has leapfrogged Manny Pacquiao to top the Yahoo! pound-for-pound rankings.
Pacquiao controversially retained his WBO welterweight title with a narrow points victory over Juan Manuel Marquez last week and the below-par performance is believed to have contributed to his drop in the ratings.
"His reputation took a hit with his performance against Marquez," said Yahoo! Sports boxing analyst Kevin Iole.
"His disputed win over Marquez pointed out he still has several significant flaws.
"He struggles against counterpunchers and he doesn't do well backing up. He also often forgets to jab his way in."
The list is made up of votes from 44 boxing writers from leading newspapers and websites.
