Promoter Frank Warren has admitted that Dereck Chisora's world title ambitions will be damaged if he loses to Malik Scott on Saturday night.
Chisora is hoping to improve on a record of 16 victories in 20 outings, while Scott is unbeaten in 35 encounters, but Warren has warned that the Brit needs to inflict the first defeat on the American.
Warren told reporters: "If Dereck wants to be in the mix for a world title, he must not lose this one. If he does, it'll be a tough haul back, but he's in his best shape ever."
The 29-year-old's four defeats have come against Tyson Fury, Robert Helenius, Vitali Klitschko and David Haye.
