Tyson Fury wins one-sided Dereck Chisora bout

Tyson Fury becomes the mandatory challenger for the WBO heavyweight title by beating British rival Dereck Chisora, whose corner threw in the towel in the tenth round.

Tyson Fury has become the mandatory challenger for the WBO heavyweight title after comfortably beating a below-par Dereck Chisora in London.

The former British and Commonwealth champion dominated from the start as Chisora produced little response to Fury's jabs before his corner threw in the towel after ten rounds.

After heeding advice from his corner not to push for the big punches at every opportunity, Fury landed good shots on his opponent in the early rounds to take control of the all-English bout.

Chisora continued to walk straight into punches as Fury was easing to victory and by the ninth and tenth, Del Boy was bleeding from the mouth and spectators headed for the exits, perhaps thinking that the fight was long since over as a contest.

In the end, it was Chisora's corner who threw in the towel to save their man from further punishment, leaving Fury to ease to victory.

As well as earning a chance to fight for a world title, Fury also became British and European champion.
