23.14The flyweight and welterweights will duke it out tomorrow for a place in the quarter-finals. Join us from 1.30pm for all the action! Farewell!

23.11Day six comes to a close at the ExCel Centre. Britain have suffered their first defeat, but Anthony Ogogo has put himself in prime position for a medalwith a narrow victory over Ievgen Khytrov.

22.48Murata closes out a 21-12 victory. I wasn't particularly impressed with him though. Power and stamina, but looked slow at times.

22.345-4 to Murata. They are standing in front of each other and trading, but with not much actual accuracy or effect.

22.30Last fight: Abdelmalek Rahou (Algeria) vs Ryoto Murata (Japan)

22.29Kilicci closes out a comprehensive 20-11 triumph.

22.18Adem Kilicci is currently leading Aleksandar Drenovak by three points.

22.058-9 to the Indian. Final round.

22.00... as I say that, it is Vijender who takes the lead. 4-3 to the Indian.

21.59Gausha produced a stunning knockout in the final second of his first-round bout against Hakobyan. The American has made a fast start here.

21.58On now: Terrell Gausha (United States) vs Vijender Singh (India)

21.54Bad decision coming up folks.

21.48Juratoni did come on strong, but only cuts his deficit by one. He should have won that one by more.

21.44Atoev leads 6-4, but expect Juratoni to grow into this contest.

21.40Up next: Bogdan Juratoni (Romania) vs Abbos Atoev (Uzbekistan)

21.35This is going to a countback. It is a close one.

21.309-9 now... final round.

21.27Han leads 6-4. Power is with Safaryants, speed with Han. Good match-up.

21.24Some big shots from Safaryants.

21.21The Belorusian had a bye in the previous round.

21.20Up next: Han Soonchul (South Korea) vs Vazgen Safaryants (Belarus)

21.17Ramirez did very well in the last round there, but I don't think he has done enough to overturn a seven-point gap. The Uzbek has just done enough I feel...

21.12Different skills from Gaibnazarov there, boxing off the back foot. 12-5 to the Uzbek, and he looks good.

21.08The Uzbek takes a 6-2 lead. Impressive start.

21.06Gaibnazarov looks strong here though, he has made a great start.

21.03Ramirez looked good in the last round.

21.03Up next: Fazliddin Gaibnazarov (Uzbekistan) vs Jose Ramirez (United States)

21.02... and Petrauskas has won. He was relentlessly attacking and ruthlessly powerful in equal measure. He will face Valentino in the quarters. I'd back the Italian to come through, as Keles did not employ the correct tactics there. He should have been hitting and moving rather than standing in front of the Lithuanian. Still, good win.

20.56Petrauskas even more in control.

20.52Petrauskas is in control.

20.48Up next: Evaldas Petrauskas (Lithuania) vs Fatih Keles (Turkey)

End of Round 3That's it, I think Valentino has won this one.

Round 3Final minute...

Round 3Valentino is still in front here. Taylor needs to go for it, but he is being beaten to the punch.

Round 3Great left hook from Taylor! Valentino replies with a crisp right!

Round 3Taylor lands, but so does Valentino. It is nip and tuck. Who is going to finish stronger?

End of Round 2At the end of two rounds it is Valentino who remains in the lead by one point. Very close, it's going to go to the wire.

Round 2It is a bit of a stand off at the moment. Taylor lands to the body.

Round 2Valentino lands. Not very powerful, but it scores.

Round 2Taylor goes for it straight from the bell.

End of Round 14-3 to Valentino at the end of the first.

Round 1It has been a very evenly matched contest so far.

Round 1Taylor makes an attack, but is also not very accurate.

Round 1Valentino is coming forward but, as yet, nothing has landed from rither fighter.

20.30Here come the fighters to 'Start Me Up' by The Rolling Stones.

20.26To tonight's action - Josh Taylor is up first against Italy's Domenico Valentino. Seven out of seven?

20.24It might not be sufficient restitution for Iranians, but Frank Scharmach has been punished for his bizarre disqualification of Ali Mazaheri last night.

20.21Welcome back!

16.00Join us again from 8.30pm for all the action from the ExCel Centre. Goodbye for now!

15.58Felix Verdejo Sanchez looked good in his win, as did Stefan Hartel, who dumped out Ireland's Darren O'Neill.

15.56Vasyl Lomachenko began proceedings with a dominating display of speed and power. He is absolutely the man to beat. Josh Taylor is in his division and kicks off the evening session against Domenico Valentino.

15.53Anthony Ogogo produced the performance of his life to oust world champion and number-one seed Ievgen Khytrov.

15.52That's it for the afternoon session - and what a session it was!

15.26Up next: Soltan Miginitov (Azerbaijan) vs Esquiva Falcao Florentino (Brazil)

15.26Harcsa wins through to the quarter-finals.

15.15Harcsa leads 4-2, but not a great deal of excitment.

15.10Up next: Mujandjae Kasuto (Namibia) vs Zoltan Harcsa (Hungary)

15.10Hartel wins 19-12. The Irishman is sent packing.

14.58Hartel leads 6-4. Second round.

14.58O'Neill is being bested in this first round. The winner of this bout will face Ogogo in the quarters.

14.54Up next: Darren O'Neill (Ireland) vs Stefan Hartel (Germany)

14.54Let me catch my breath... that was a pulsating encounter with a dramatic ending. "Best moment of the Games so far" says Richie Woodhall. I agree!

14.52Dramatic stuff! The decision was a long time coming as the judges scored the bout 18-18. The countback then came back 52-52. The five judges took a vote and at least three of them opted for Ogogo. It could have gone either way, but it goes to the Brit!

DecisionOGOGO WINS ON A COUNTBACK!

End of Round 3Great fight! But I have a feeling that Khytrov has just done enough. Decision time...

Round 3Ogogo sagging on the ropes. He is noticeably flagging now. Both men are landing!

Round 3This is going to be very close! Ogogo is tiring slightly. Khytrov lands!

Round 3Ogogo is coming on strong here! A few decent scoring shots!

Round 3Final round! Furious exchange to open!

End of Round 2That final 30 seconds just swung it in favour of the Ukrainian. Ogogo was defending nicely until then, but Khytrov leads 7-6.

Round 2Another standing count for Ogogo, but that one was a bit more suspect...

Round 2Khytrov forces a standing count!

Round 2Great left hook from Ogogo. Fans are loving this.

Round 2The pressure from Khytrov is constant. He is walking forward at all times, forcing Ogogo to engage.

Round 2Another great flurry of shots there from Ogogo. Can he keep this pace up?

End of Round 1Ogogo is blowing at the end of the round, but he leads 5-3. Tough opener.

Round 1Burst of punches from Ogogo but a lot of it is blocked by Khytrov.

Round 1Ogogo is keeping his guard right up.

Round 1Decent few shots from Ogogo. He looks rather sharp. Khytrov has not fought yet so he may be rusty.

Round 1Both men go to work right away. Khytrov perhaps getting the better but not much is getting through.

14.35He will put himself right into medal contention with victory here. The arena erupts as he is announced.

14.34Ogogo has his work cut out for him here. He enters the ring looking confident.

14.33Up next: Ievgen Khytrov (Ukraine) vs Anthony Ogogo (Great Britain)

14.33Toledo seals a four-point victory despite some decent work from Liu in the final round.

14.27Toledo leads by two, but Liu is not out of this one just yet.

14.22Tight first round. Toledo leads 3-2.

14.19On now: Qiang Liu (China) vs Yasnier Toledo (Cuba)

14.16Zhailauov wins through 16-8. Decent showing. Some flaws evident in the first round though. Slack defence being one of them.

14.15Zhailauov is well in front now. He has turned this contest on its head and he has won this one despite an early scare.

14.04Bhagwan has taken the lead in this one.

14.01Up next: Gani Zhailauov (Kazkhstan) vs Jai Bhagwan (India)

14.00Verdejo wins through 16-7. Nice performance from the Puerto Rican.

13.54Verdejo is well in front here. He has far too much for Mejri.

13.46Up next: Ahmed Mejri (Tunisia) vs Felix Verdejo (Puerto Rico)

13.45The Ukrainian wins 15-3. It is gonna take a Herculean effort to stop this guy winning gold. Opponent left something to be desired, but still, he dealt with him ruthlessly.

13.42Lomachenko looked awesome. Simply awesome.

13.34Lomachenko looks superb. Arias has had a standing count. The Ukrainian leads 5-1.

13.29Right, so Lomachenko is up first. He is very highly fancied in this division.

13.27Welcome to day six at the ExCel Centre. First up: Vasyl Lomachenko (Ukraine) vs Wellington Arias (Dominican Republic)
