England T20 captain Stuart Broad has said that his side had their match against India under control after their six-wicket win at Old Trafford.
The hosts took it to the final over to seal the victory in the one-off match in Manchester, with Eoin Morgan's 49 laying the foundations for their success.
"The guys felt we had it under control," Broad told Sky Sports News. "Morgan played pretty well, and then for Ravi [Bopara] and Samit [Patel] to finish it off was pretty special.
"We're delighted with the win, but there are things we can improve on. We came back at India very well, especially in restricting them to 165 after the start they got.
"The atmosphere was brilliant, and really helped the guys. To come back from the position we were in after 10 overs is fantastic," he added.
The win comes after England's recent 4-0 Test series whitewash against India which sent them to the top of the ICC world Test rankings.
