Stuart Broad has confirmed that he will be undergoing surgery on his knee on September 4 as he looks for a solution to a long-term injury concern.
The 28-year-old has suffered with patella tendonitis for over a year, with England being forced to manage his schedule to prevent the problem from making him miss too many games.
However, an opportunity to operate on the affected area has arisen as Broad sits out the one-day international series with India over the next few weeks.
I've seen the surgeon 2day and now def having surgery on my troublesome knee 4th Sep I've been due for a while so can't wait to get sorted
